I wanted to thank Travis and Smithville Marine for the great service. I pulled into the lot after a tough day of Bass fishing on Smithville lake to buy some engine oil for my boat motor.

The night before my trailer lights shorted out which forced me to leave to go fishing much later than I wanted to.   I did not know what the problem was, so I told Travis about the issue when I pulled in to the dealership and he quickly diagnosed the problem and got my trailer lights working again.

Travis and Brian found the fuse, thx to Smithville Marine

I tell this story because I thought I was going to have to leave the boat for repair,  instead I bought my oil and I  was on my way.  I was impressed with the service at Smithville Marine, most places would not go over the call of duty as Travis did,  Thanks

Just Before Fall – Winter using Nitro Grease Trout Bait will catch us more trout this season…. We found a really old jar from back in California with Lip RipperZ plastic worms and Nitro Grease we would win a ton of derbies hosted by local tackle shops.

Trout Go NUT’s for Crave Nitro Grease

We are in the process of cleaning out our basement getting ready for the season cleaning our tackle boxes and gearing up the trout gear, light fishing line and small plastics. I put on one of our light reals a 4lb trial from Vicious Fishing and Wow talk about a thin line you can see with “NEW” Fishing Line model of Pan Fish Florescent Clear/ Blue. I even found a lime green jar, and I am not sure if I have even used it for at least 5 years, I am sure it stinks now.

Bennett Spring State Park is great this time of year for fly fishing for trout, this year I would like to fly fish for Bass as well trout however without a fly I would like to see how Lip RipperZ would work on a fly rod.

This video at Bennet Springs is nut’s ” TURN YOUR SPEAKERS DOWN BEFORE PLAYING VIDEO”
The Tornado Sirens are going off and fly fisherman are still fishing, what can you do you are in a river….. Fun water current.

Just got off the water this morning using Vicious Ultimate Clear Blue  this is a cool fishing line. I have been using the Ultimate Line Primarily for all my spinning rods for finesse fishing and just got a 2400 yard spool of the clear blue I normally preferred the lo vis green or the clear however I have now adopted the CLEAR BLUE FLUORESCENT.

Vicious Fishing Ultimate Fishing Line comes in LoVis Green, LoVis Clear, and Clear Blue Fluorescent.

I was able to see the line so much better as I was throwing a new sinko style bait from Vicious as well… It was a hard morning and no one on the boat was catching much however when I baited the june bug color on a Mustad Hook 4 wacky style I started getting hooked and nailed a decent size large-mouth bass… I hope to do better on Sunday Morning at Weatherby Lake.

I must say how much I enjoyed wearing my new shades from Vicious Fishing, my son and I received our pro staff gear this last week and in the box was a pair of Brand New Coosa Sunglasses for myself and my son.

The cool black shades with the vicious fishing logo on each side,  as well a pair of polarized Sunglasses with brown lenses that make everything just pop, it even makes my lawn look good. Ya I know I need to cut it but I think it can wait until we fish in the morning.

The sunglasses come in 2 different styles one is the color I just described earlier however they do have another pair I plan to get us both is the white frame and brown lenses…  Even my wife and daughter seem to be drawn to them, so I may just pick up a few for the entire family. Seen above in the photo with a bass Josh is sponsored by Vicious Fishing Line, BearPaws Custom Poured Baits, Lip RipperZ and currently competes in local tournaments.
We are expected to be going out in a few hours, and should be able to try some of the other baits such as the plastic baits from Vicous. I ordered a ton of cool soft plastic baits such as sinko’s, trick worms, shaky head. What I found was that the plastic was great it was soft and lasts multiple hookups, when fishing around trees, brush and even docks you end up checking your line at the same time your bait and need to adjust the hook to keep the bait running weedless.
What was really fun was running this little bait on the ground with a shakyhead and in this case with the fish below, I got him with a Mustad 4 Worm Hook with a splitshot 10 inches from the bait using 10lb Ultimate Fishing Line from Vicous, I never leave home without it…

I didnt catch huge fish this day however a storm was headed in and fishing was slow but once we put the small baits on the bite was on. This worm also works great on the sunfish as we found ourself catching a lot of them as well.
