Winter Bass fishing can sometimes be a pain in the butt if the bass are not wanting to eat or you are using the wrong fishing lures. We about turned into Ice standing in the high winds and cold winter tempertures. It was fun this weekend it has been raining and is now starting to snow here in Kansas City however New Years Day looks like a good day to fi with mostly sunny conditions withj Colder Temps Highs in the upper 30s with a Northwest wind of 10-15 mph.

We first started fishing with this Megabait Lure and on the first cast marty westly caught his first fish that was a great size however he did’nt realize he needed to set the hook just a bit harder and when we got the largemouth bass up to the boat we all got a chance to see the fish attached to the Megabait lure however the fish shook the bait right out of his mouth. And it was gone back to the deeps. He had found him right under a dock as we passed by with the Min Kota Trolling motor set to 25 slowly moving by each dock.
